differential interchange
I have a 1969 A108 auto trans slant six. Does anyone know what diffs from other cars will fit the van? The one in it is a 8 3/4" chrysler RA 36 according to the door tag. I have a 1966 dodge pickup but I think the axles are longer on the pickup . Thanks for any help

If I remember correctly the A series Vans/Pick ups have a rear axle assembly that has a different width than ALL other Mopar vehicles. The center section for the 8 3/4 is pretty much interchangeable between all models. Just the older ones are less desirable.
Someone else may be able to add a little more to this.
My truck is younger than me.

Re: differential interchange
Yup DKB is kind of correct. Flange to flange is 56 3/4... actually the same as the 65-69 c-bodies but, the perches are on top and narrower. I have one in my stash. I did remember something different from the others.
