wheel cylinder interchange
wheel cylinder interchange
I have a 1969 A 108 van and need to re-do my brakes. I know the master cylinders are the the same in all these vans. Looking at part store sites I've noticed some confusion about the wheel cylinder application. Are all the wheel cylinders the same for A 108 and A 100? I know almost everything is the same for 100 and 108 mechanically. Autozone only lists parts for the A 100 but everything I've bought for the A 100 has worked on my A 108. Any help would be appreciated Tom Campbell tcampbell@netscape.com

Re: wheel cylinder interchange
Check bore size by reading back side of old rubber cup seals on yours it should be 13/16 uses wc37041 cylinders on both sides rear and 1 1/8 bore front uses wc36050 left wc36051 right all Raybestos #s
Hope this helps, and nothing in the Raybestos about A108 being different but should be 11x2 3/4 brake in front and 10x 2 1/2 rear
