Heirloom A100 Project: new to board

Post by Gubbins »

This '65 225ci 3sp was my Dad's, mine and now were slowly working it back into shape for my son. I'm sure we'll be reaching out for info along the way. We're both learning lots as we go!

Welcome. A great truck and a great story to go with it. I have a 67 A108 van that's been my swap meet truck for many years.

got the front end off; ordering bearinged king pin set from Tenn., cleaning up and rebushing the somewhat saggy springs, going to try some beffy load leveler shocks to slightly lift and stiffen it up. got a steering damper kit to keep'r steady as she goes and of course new brake cyls and hardware, etc..
