Removing A100 roof?

I've seen pictuires of other trucks with the roof made so it can be removed. Anyone thought about doing it to an A100? I don't have one so I can take a look, do they have a full length ladder frame? Would it lose too much structural stength? I'm just playing with ideas at this point.

I had a friend that had one of the A100's with the camper roof. They cut the old roof off from behind the cap, put in a little re-enforcement, then used the original roof along with with some canvas to extend the roof when parked.

It was similar to these campers. Go to the bottom of the page to find the campers. Don't drool on the screen on the way down.

The pickups are similar frame wise and they are all open in the back.
