floor pan replacement
I have a 1969 d 100 floor pans are rusted also some around cab mounts in the front floor boards im a auto tech but never done body work . I have cut the rust out on pass side floor board and i have flat sheet metal to replace it but not sure how would the best way be to do this?

Click on my links below... seeing how your "doing it yourself"! Basically... you should have made your templates before cutting out the rust. But... now that it is already gone. You can start by laying a piece of stiff cardboard to make a template of what you need to do.

thanks for the tip the drivers side is still there ill use the cardboard tip

The floors may be slightly different near the hump due to that 'bulge' on the floor where the gas pedal bolts down (on older styles). But... I don't own a 69, so maybe that bump isn't there? You will do just fine.
