360 motor mounts

Post by eralov »

i have a 67 a100 motorhome that came with a 318 and 727
i swapped a 360 into it with the motor mounts from the donor vehicle (83 pathfinder 4x4 van with pathfinder specific crossmember)
i forced the stock style rubber mounts to fit, but after taking the rig on a 1700mile trip from seattle the san fransico and back, i am starting to separate the rubber
what motor mounts are most people using for a 360?

I know that the steel (block) side of the mounts are different. I think on the driver side....

my problem is i used a b-van with a custom relocated engine support
the stock crosmember was cut out and a new one bolted in to shift the engine to the passenger side
not sure but they should be stock b-van mounts
i used the mounts that were in the 4x4 van
i have an alignment issue with these
i have some stock 318 mounts, but those will not work well either

also i am refering to the steel mounts, on either side of the engine as i am pretty sure the rubber mounts are all the same for the small blocks
if i am wrong, please correct me
