L600 Passenger door

Post by g843 »

I'm new here but have loved dodge trucks a long time.
I have a 1951 Dodge M37 that I take to parades and such, also have a 1968 L-600 that I've been converting into a hauler for my 1951 M38 Willis Jeep.
This past week an old dead tree was snapped off by high winds and caught the mirror bracket on my door and bent the upper glass channel down in a 90 degree bend broke the glass and some other damage. I need to know if the doors from the A100 van would fit the L-600 Tilt Cab. If not where could I find a replacement door for the Tilt Cab?
Thanks, G843

The doors are not interchangable between the L's and A's. The L door is much wider than the A in the footwell section of the door. If you just need the glass channel to solve your problem, I can probably help with that.

The doors are identical except for a box extension the factory welds onto the bottom of the A-100 door to make it longer. You could split that box off of your door and graft it onto an A-100 door, then swap the doorskin over and it would look fine.
