Some of the 70's Dodge pickups w/divorced transfer case used the same transmission. Some Dodge motorhomes also used this type of setup.

Re: WANTED A100 318 transmission
All the trucks and motorhomes i have seen have the regular trans mount whereas the a100 has the bushing mount pressed into the casting of the tailhousing... maybe the transmissions are the same and you could just swap the tailhousing...??? MAYBE...Dodgevanman wrote:Some of the 70's Dodge pickups w/divorced transfer case used the same transmission. Some Dodge motorhomes also used this type of setup.

Yes, although the A100 section doesn't get a lot of use because most of the regulars are Sweptline owners.jezzicaz789 wrote:Kingmankid wrote:I'm in Wisconsin and in need of a transmission for an A100 They have the mountson top.If anyone in Wisconsin or the surrounding states has one either good or a core ,give me a shout.I'd appreciate it.

Re: WANTED A100 318 transmission
Simple question. Could someone post a picture of an A100 small block trans in a van for me so I can see it. I have a 68 318 trans that has been in storage since 1977 but one of the mounts got broken. Just not sure if the broken mount will be a problem. It will be for sale at some point in the future when I know if its OK as a good core.

What is the number of the Automatic trans for an A100? Is it called a 318?
What is the number of a "short tail" Duster auto trans need to fit an A100?

Re: WANTED A100 318 transmission
That's the trans that I have in the picture. One of the mounts on the top of tail shaft on my trans is snapped off.
Tail housing can be replaced from another trans . Been sitting in dry storage for 36 years.
