hey fred, you ready for me to come get that big old bumper off your 4x4 yet?? good to see you coming round more often. there has been numerous posts here and on norms site about the 4x4 tie rod, might search some of the archived posts to see what they came up with. i believe either russ ashley or pwrwgndrvr was the last one on the search.

(209) 948-6005 (800) 621-2005 http://www.rareparts.com They have ALL steering parts for every American vehicle made since 1930. If they don't have it in stock, they make it per your order. I got a new drag link (4X4) from them this year ( it's the only place you'll find that drag link new) and am very happy with it. They are not cheap, but steering is one of the places I don't want cheap parts. Two of my Power Wagon front axles have the straight tie rod out front. The other one has a "dropped-center" tie rod, it's very cool looking, though the center really doesn't need to be dropped for anything. Keep the tired iron runnin'. Ricky
