Just a couple of more observations..... you must
watch the tube diameter of the shock absorber you
plan to use, as the pitman arm will scrub or dent
some of the "chubby" shocks. Also, the standard
brake hose listed for W100/W200's really doesn't
fit the large knuckle axle. A steel "jumper" line
runs from the wheel cylinder to a bracket mounted
on the knuckle housing on my W200 and a 19 to 21
inch hose with female ends connects it to the line
at the frame rail. If anyone needs the NAPA part
number for this hose, just let me know. Also, FYI....
I installed some RANCHO 5000's up front and the
pitman arm did slightly crease the shock tube. I
took my grinder and slightly rounded off the squared
end of the arm to gain proper clearance. The stock
shock absorber tubes are noticeably skinnier.
