ok, just to add to this quandry. whats the difference between a camper special rating versus a regular 3/4 ton?? i know i got more then stock, but less then a 300. at least i think the rear is less then a 300, doesnt feel like it going down the road! LOLOL!! my door tag still has the stocker 200 specs on it, thats why i ask.

Thanks for the info Hoss. I figured it would have a higher rating. This truck does have 17" wheels if that matters. Probably all the brakes can handle.
My new F-350 DUALLY work truck has a 13,000 GVWR. It has real good brakes though.

I have a complete '70 1 ton front axle that I'm considering putting it in. But I'm afraid its to heavy up front for the open knuckle 1 ton axle. The Chevy axle is 4" wider. That would help solve the narrow axle look.

I got to get it fired up first. Cleaned and replaced fuel lines today :banghead
