69 -71 Front fenders any diffrence?

Post by Doright »

I am needing a set of fenders for my 69 mine are a Bit beat up and have sourced a couple from a 71 which are not all that bad, I was wondering though are their any other differences other than the Marker lights in the side? I am fairly handy with a Tig welder so welding up a Hole and making a new one doesn't bother me at all.

Any one know the correct location of the marker light hole for a 69? Mine were filled in a long time ago before I got the Truck.
And maybe a source for a set of marker lights?

69's didn't have marker lights, they had reflectors.

Looking at original Trucks in Pics That's what They looked like to me BUT I had no way of knowing for sure.

I am collecting pieces parts to restore my Old Truck now b4 the restoration starts, I have a Few Projects in front of it yet but its gonna happen.
I really need to source Window and door glass seals and door seals and all the reflectors and a new set of Brake light plastic covers.
Along with all the new seals for the Transmission transfer case and front and rear Diffs all that will be fun.

Gonna do a full ground up restoration on everything
