'65 W300 Power Wagon e-brake assembly

Post by 1967IPA »

Howdy all - new member (and new owner of a '65 W300).
At some point, the entire e-brake assembly was stolen off this truck. Any idea on compatibility from other years / models?

Is this on the transmission or the transfer case?

If on transmission: Medium duty 2wd trucks/ buses (500-800) kept them on the transmission through the end of the run (1977 for US). But it is a larger unit than what a W300 would use. I have one and I can post pictures of if it would help.

W600 kept them on the transfer case through 1977, but its a Rockwell unit & considerably different. I also have one to take pictures of for reference.

This one has the original bracket from the T-case still mounted.

Did they take the drum off the t-case, then reinstall the yoke to connect the driveline?
You stated earlier that the "entire" system was stolen, but that bracket is a key component and its still there, so what exactly IS missing?
