Drive Shaft

Curious, what is factory 1968 W100 drive shaft diameter and what does it look like? I have a 1968 W100 with SERT upgraded axels. SERT says - heavy-duty non-standard axle, 3500lb front axle (Dana 44), possibly 1-ton U-joints and yokes? Rear Axle – Dana 60 (06221). However, my drive shaft looks very small? Is there an easy swap to a larger 91-93 3/4 Ton drive shaft? Not exactly sure if I would need to cut down or lengthen, change out u-joints or how difficult that would be?

Sounds like your truck came with the large knuckle Dana 44 front axle.
The front drive shaft would be the same as a W200 from '61-'68.
