Shocks Shocks Shocks

Post by 71Lumberwagon »

I have a 71 that rides like an old wagon problably worse :banghead anyway I am trying to find a good all around shock absorber for towing and hauling, mild off-road, and is still smoothish with no load on our terrible highways out here. I hear ranchos and monroes are good, but are big name brands like fox or king worth it for my application? Would be neat if i could find something adjustable so if I tow I can just set them to that adjustment and back them off when done. Anybody want to give me their :2cents?

Interesting, last time I looked Rancho didn't offer the RS9000XL series adjustable shocks for our trucks and now I see they do. I'd go with them but I can't offer a whole lot of experience using them. BTW, as noted on their site they do fit very tight on the mounting pins.
