Swapping frames
I'm positive someone has done this. But what I'm looking is just an idea on what years of trucks have been used. I've got a 1970 w200 crewcab with pierce utility bed on it. It was an air force fire truck. I love the look of my old truck just want the reliability of the new trucks. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Swapping frames
I personally haven’t done it, but I’m leaning towards the 94-02 frame. A couple of guys have done it and it seems like a good swap. I personally like the idea of coil front springs. The 93-down swap I probably easier, but probably not the ride quality.

ICON did that a while back. Others on the board have done it as well.
