SRW-DRW Related questions on a W300

Post by ChipolteOrangeD300 »

I am wondering if 17.5 rims from a DRW truck will fit on the front axle of a SRW truck and allow it to roll on a trailer? No turning required, just rolling forward and backward..

The grand plan is to put a SRW W300 rolling chassis on a U-haul trailer. It has 9.00-16 tires on it.. My D300 has 8.00-17.5's and I am thinking that tire strap will fit that much better than the larger tires..

all thoughts and opinions regarding this plan are welcome..

The 17.5 wheels, I would think, will have to be installed "backwards"...dish facing outward. Is the trailer wide enough for the increase in the track width?

I doubt it... from my measurements on the D 300, the front wheels are about 74", and the trailer is 79.5...

it should fit the normal way. the stud flange on front of W300 sticks way out whether DRW or SRW
