I am at the point in my restoration where the critical questions come up. My dash is all black with white gauge plate with a international school bus yellow original.

what is the common dash color? body color or black? if black, gloss or satin?

\The 68s that I have seen have satin black dashes. As do 67s,except on 67s the black is painted over the body color.

The gauge plate shouldn't be White and none of it should be IH colors. :thinking

I have one in my back yard (67 D300) and the dash is body colour and it has a dash pad bar like the 68 trucks. Unrestored rusty old survivor. :thinking

Hey Doug, I thought you were outa trucks. Good to hear you have at least one left over. I just bought a 68 D300 near your addy. I will be bringing it home in a few days. 25 miles east of you. Figuring to make it a upgrade in several ways. Even though I have been quiet, I have not yet stopped buying sweptys. Gordo
