Where to buy lift components?

Post by ArmchairRacer »

What are some trusted vendors for lifts and other off road parts for these old power wagons? All I can find with google is parts for new power wagons.

That,s what is available. Time to mix and match. Collect the parts and install. Be creative but do it safely. :thinking :Thumbsup

Ok... so does anyone have any experience with what works and what doesn't? Like, are there any springs that people have used that don't require fabrication, just bolt in? I'd only like to go up about 3 inches.

The pre-'69 W 100/200 Sweptlines sat pretty
tall in stock configuration. There isn't a ton
of aftermarket "off the shelf" suspension
parts available. The easiest solution for you
might be to look at a set of leaf springs with
a bit more arch..... if you're just after ~3". :2cents
You'll need to keep an eye on the drag link angle
as well because bump steer and "death wobble"
come into play when changing your steering geometry.
I'm sure others will chime in here too.
