Without detailed pictures a price is pretty much impossible to come up with. And because of that I will take it for free. Just like I did a number of years ago with my 70 D500 with 27000 original miles. Just to do breaks it cost me just over a $1000.00 not including the other crap I did. And no bodywork done yet.

Dale,
How badly is it rusted?.... If its a typical NY truck with severely rusted
cab, fenders, doors, hood, etc. that's obviously a "negative". If the frame
and drive train is intact but heavily scaled / rusted....its another "negative". :pale

There would be parts of the drive train which would be of interest to
some folks..... but you'd likely have to remove and ship them. If this is
one of those.... NOT PARTING IT OUT vehicles..... you're looking at a
tough sell.... maybe $600-$700 as an entire rusty hulk??.... I'm sure others
will chime in.

Dale,
If the body, chassis and drivetrain are all excellent and it just needs a
going over..... I'd say that you've got a $4500+ truck..... :2cents :Thumbsup

That's about what I was going to say. W500's are about my favorite truck but their use is so limited it hurts their market value.
There's a W500 Firetruck that's got low miles that's for sale in the Seattle area for the past 2 years. Beautiful truck but the guy started out wanting $15k...he's down to $9500 & still too much in my opinion. If it had a flatdeck & no holes cut in the roof, I could maybe see $8k-$9k...that's about the ceiling unless you have something really special, in my opinion.
