VIN should show either a D or W at the beginning as well as info on plate to point to a W or D series axles etc.

I believe "Sno-Fiter" was manufactured by Meyers

Sno-fiter was a package offered by Dodge that included the Meyers plow. After a legal dispute the name was changed to Sno-commander around 78.

I found this on RCC, sorry that I can't enlarge it. Shows a 77 model & already uses the "Sno-commander" terminology. I know it was still "Sno-fiter" in 1974.

:Thumbsup Precisely.
My '71 W200 had the sno-fiter plow package [Meyers].
Fisher and Western were the other big names in snow
plows back then.

My 75 W600 had the Western plow. I think Dodge used more Westerns in the bigger trucks.
