1970 W100 longbed

Post by Norm »

I recently picked up a 1970 W100 LB with 318 and NP445 four speed. Truck is all original with exception of motor which is a 1990 year model. Truck only has 62K original miles so don't know why motor was changed. My question is does anyone have production numbers for this particular model? It has 5 on 5 1/2" bolt pattern with 8 3/4" rearend so it is definately a W100. Any info will be appreciated!

Looks like 1897 longbed 1970 W100's were made.

Thanks for the info. I'm doing a complete resto on this truck but will use it for hunting so it won't be showroom new when finished.
