closed knuckle 44

Do the wheel bearings need to be greesed on this axle via taking the hubs apart?

You bet. A lot more work than a 2 wheel drive though.

Great. How many of the hex bolts holding in the locking bit are going to snap or round out? If I have not greesed the bearings in a long time then I am sure they are due ? Several years.

And if I have broken the nuckle housing where would be a good start to find a replacement? Dana 44hd 3000 casting # c31412

I have both for sale 67 dana 44 and a 74 with disc brakes both 4.09 gear
