Sorry guys...I am a"newbie" to the Sweptline world but now am determined to get my hands on a 1962-1965 D200 or W200 Crew Cab truck. I know they are rare but continually am looking for the right truck to restore.
Can someone tell me what the differences are between the D200 and W200 models in this year range?
Thanks guys!

D=2 wheel drive. W=4 wheel drive. That's about it! Lots of differences minor and otherwise throughout the years. I like 'em all! Mike OOPS. Forgot! 100 is 1/2 ton, 200 is 3/4 ton.

If you don't know the difference between them then how do you know you are looking for a D200 or W200? As mentioned already, D is a 2wd truck and W is a 4wd truck.

to the site! The truck bodystyle actually runs from 61 through 71, but the 62 to early 65 have the same grille that I assume you like. There are several small differences through the years but most parts are interchangable. Good luck finding a truck. There are usually plenty available, so if your patient you can find just what your looking for.
