New to the forum! Purchased this 64' Power Wagon last month
Hey!
I thought I'd introduce myself to everybody- I just picked up this 1964 W200 last month from a member up in Butte, MT. It's all original, has around 80,xxx miles on it, just the right amount of patina... and pulled strong all the way from Butte, MT to my garage in Denver. I'll add some more info on it soon, if you guys haven't seen it already, and I'll try and upload some pictures for you guys. Thanks! Mike

Now thats patina
Re: New to the forum! Purchased this 64' Power Wagon last m
Thanks guys! Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but I'm sure someone will let me know if it needs to move... Anyways, It's about 98% original- I have the five original split rims for it (solid rims on her currently), and it has an aftermarket turn signal installed on the steering column, other than that it appears to have not been messed with much. Purchased it from the second owner, it was a local MT truck since new. The engine will definitely need to be rebuilt sometime in the near future, it seems like the rings and seals are shot. I drove it all the way back to Denver from Butte, MT.... Definitely an adventure (A very SLOW-paced one) compression is pretty low in all the cylinders, and burns oil. I tried to keep the ol' girl under 50 mph most of the trip and she never let me down. I'll get some current pictures now that it's at it's new home. Ha- It sticks out of my garage by at least 2 ft, so anything I try and work on has to be finished or put back together before lights out, so I haven't had a ton of time to do much with it yet.

That's a nice one. Are those newer MT license plates or old time originals? I see that your spare tires are standing in the back of the bed I have a '68 D100 and have only one standing behind the driver in the bed. Is that a Dodge thing or aftermarket? Any one know?

I'm pretty sure they're old timers- I got a hold of the previous owner again and was going to send them back to him, and he told me to hang em' up in my garage As for those spare tire mounts in the bed- The ones in my truck appear to be home-made to me... I'll try and get a picture of them tomorrow so you can get an idea.nytemuvr wrote:That's a nice one. Are those newer MT license plates or old time originals?
