Power Wagon Hood Trim

Post by Scrawltrawler »

I'm a new member and just got a 68 W200 with no trim and I'd like to dress it up a bit. I'm wondering: 1) if the hood logos are the same for the W series and the WM series for 66-69 and 2) what's a fair price? Also, if this has been covered, please point me in the right direction! Thanks!

The W-series trucks 61-68 had these hood emblems. The flat fender trucks had a line connecting the letters.

For a full set they run $40-300.

Thanks for the lesson! I'm guessing the price variation is due to condition?

Yeah, 40 being usable but pitted and 2-300 being NOS. I paid 50 for the ones shown.

Where can one even find the 61-68 power wagon hood emblems? I have talked to a couple different places that advertise having them and they actually do not and when they do get them in the put them on ebay.

I can attest to what Jim100 is saying - just had confirmation of that this morning from an online vendor. Keep yer eyes peeled and talk it up to all you know 'cause you don't know who knows where that stuff is!

Wow those are some nice ones. Too nice for my farm type truck. I will keep looking for some rough ones.
Thanks for the tip and I hope one of our people gets them!
