New tire/rim options for my 64' PW

Post by CaptMarvel »

Ok, looking to change out the old 16.5 tires and rims on my Utline 64'. Want to go with 16" and a good new rim (with older styling and size) Not into the big rim look of late.
I'd love to find something kind of like the old flat black Jackman style but I think theyre not being made anymore? Can someone tell me what are the max sizes of 16" and rims availible for the 64' (all stock height etc..) that will still allow me to turn the front wheels...Much thanks.. :thinking

You could hit up your local boneyard and get a set of 16" Dodge
8 lug wheels. The LT235/85/R16 tire fits well with the W Series
Sweptlines. There are tons of tire options for the 16" wheels.
As far as rim width, I'm a stock type of guy so the standard
stock wheels have always served me well. :Thumbsup I wouldn't
see any problems with a 5.5 to 7 inch wide wheel. Check Summit
Racing online. They have a bunch of after market wheels to look
at. :idea

You can still get whitespokes pretty cheap. 16x7 seems to be a good size for a variety of tire sizes.
