I need a new drag link.

Post by Russ »

My stock, non-adjustable drag link on my 69 W100 has got some play in the front joint. I believe there is an adjustable one available that will fit but I'm not sure. Does anyone here know anything about this, or is this something I'm going to have to make? I'd welcome any advice and/or part numbers. It's not a rush thing as I'm not driving the truck right now anyway.

You can make one useing D300 tierod ends.I know 67 works, not sure about other years. Then all you need to fab is the middle.I've also heard 70's 4x4 chevy drag links can be made to work, but I have not tried it myself.

Thanks, DD, I was thinking along those same lines. I might have a source for one, but if it doesn't work out I am thinking I will take mine out and take it over to one of the local 4X4 shops and see if they have anything to match it.
