Transfer Case Shift Pattern help needed!

Post by dahobs10 »

Gents,

Got myself a 63' W200 PW and would like some help on understanding the shift pattern for the twin sticks. Thanks!

You should have an NP201 in your truck. Shift pattern is really simple: the front lever is your high/low range lever and the rear is 2wd/4wd.

Front:
high
neutral
low

Rear:
2WD
4WD

they should be adjusted so that when you shift into neutral with the front lever it just touches the rear lever and pushes the rear lever into 4wd when you shift to low range.

Thanks for the link Seff

I've been looking around for a few days now, maybe I can post something in the PW section or Parts needed. I could have sworn I seen one somewhere. Should have saved the pic when I saw it.... :banghead

Thanks guys, I think what I saw was from the older M37's. My 63' was a Navy truck at first so I might have came across something while first looking around. :salut
