What about a motorhome rad? The one I got looks almost identical to the one that came in my truck. How much is the fix? I had a leak fixed on another truck for $10, IIRC. Or is it really bad?
What a mess.

I haven't heard from the shop yet.

What kind of motor home - Class C or Class A?

Thanks

There are some mid 70s ford rads that are almost idnetical in size and config. The Charger/Coronet rad is the same size and inlet outlet config, but the mounts are backwards from our trucks.

You also could put a water pump housing from a car in....chages the hose config to same side top/bottom.

Desert cooler radiators sells new HD rads for our trucks, but you would be looking at about $400.....oops. more like $500......sure makes a recore seem cheap.

Thanks,
I heard back from the shop.
My fear was correct, the core is shot.

They can recore mine for $300 plus $125 for labor. :banghead
or
They have a brand new one that they can put my brackets on for $225.00

Gee which one should I pick..... :thinking
A new radiator for half the money.... sweet.

Just one problem, I'm still $200 sort.
