the nice thing about Hydravacs is they are still in production, everyone used them, and Napa sells rebuilt exchange ones as well as local brake relining shops do also for maybe less than Napa. OR I bet someone here on the forum has a good used one too. you merely run the line out of the master cyl to the hydravac, then a line comes out to the junction that sends fluid to front and rear. simple, inexpensive and very effective

Kinda weird on the tack welds on the front fenders. I have seen a lot of vehicles in my time and I just can't see where this thing has been apart in any meaningful way. Though the 1/2" welds (one on each side) would suggest differently. I think I'm pretty close to committing to a cab removal, rust repair and reassembly. Maybe it will be more clear then.
