Nice the wandering eye, I was in a yard in NM and had to walk eyes to the ground.

So the floorboards are different than the 100 and 200 cabs, but the roof doors and front end are the same...or no? If the are the same you could use the firewall and front floors from the w500, maybe.

And yeah "lifestyle" w250...parts are easier to come by.

As far as Sweptline era, yes the bigger series trucks have flatter floors than the 100/200's, the hump is less pronounced. With the straight frame the front radiator core area is higher off of the frame, hence a filler panel is put in below the grill on the 300/500.

I vote, shorten the frame, build a decent flatbed, add some 53" goodyears and have some fun! :Thumbsup

This project has been abandoned, or atleast switched over to another vehicle. I bought a running/driving/legal 1975 W600 with power steering & Rockwell sideloader front axle. It will now become the platform for my 440/crew cab conversion. And yes those big tires! :Thumbsup
The W500 is possibly sold to a member on one of the PW forums.
