Not 100% sure yet it is in great condition other than there were two saddle tanks
outside the frame rails that wore some very thin lines through both sides of the bed (a very easy fix).
I'm waiting to see the bed from the 69 that my father is picking up in seatle right now.
The 69 has a hydraulic lift system on the bed. This 66 is going to get a full resto on it. I think the dump bed would be awsome
but on more of a work truck that could be beat a little.I have a early 60's alaskan camper that is going on this 66 also.
The 69 has a hydraulic winch and bumper that are also going on this 66 as well.
Funny this all started with one truck (64 300 flat bed) that ran great but the body is so rusted out its not even connected to the frame anymore (SCARY).
Now we have four.Three that have good almost rust free bodys. Were still not sure what trucks are getting what parts.
This 66 is the priority right now.

I'm in Salt lake city,Ut
That truck is sweet!
The 69 will make a good work truck so I think we are going to leave the bed on it
the 66 camper special we have has a really good bed with two tanks that are in the bed
I like the location of these tanks so I think we are going to use this bed for the 66

That '66 W200 sits up real nice. Did you lift it or
is that stock height? I'm a fan of that dark green.
A fellow member has a '68W200 with the same
color and trim.... very cool truck.

With regards to owning Sweptline trucks...
most of us start out the same way.... and soon
afterwards we're looking at a half dozen.

I had the springs rearched and added a leaf that brought it up about 3.5" then put longer than stock
tuff county shocks on it plus new hardware 33x12.5x17 discover sst.
The interior isn't bad so were going to repaint it the same color but the top is going white like the trim
should look good when done
