67 Power wagon-fender, hood interchange? pics here???

also grille, ect. I found a 67 power wagon short bed with what the owner calls a great running L.A 318 in it. 4 speed on the floor. and SAYS the truck's 4x4 works great. He wants to sell it but hit a power pole in granny low in the snow and ice and dented the fender/ pass side and hood at the corner. I am sure it could also use a grille. I am looking for a later 60s short bed and a 4x4 makes it even better.

I cant remember what years interchange but would need a fender and hoos and they should be easy to come by. I bought a 63 short bed last fall for a couple of hundred but dont want to use it even if I can.

I like the 69-71 grilles best, can I use that grille assembly on it if I use 69 fenders, headlight buckets?

I have not seen it in person but I can see it tomorrow if I am interested.

Thanks, Dave

If you're going for a later grill, the '68/'69 grill teamed up with
the '68 hood would work pretty easily without having to change
the latch. Any '61-'71 fender will work but the later '71 [& '70?]
fenders will have the hole for the side marker light. The badge
mounting hole locations changed over the years as well. If you
opt for a '69-'71 hood and a '70/'71 grill, be sure to get the
latch hardware as it differs from the earlier latch hardware.
As far as head lamp bucket location on your '67 core support, I'm
sure someone can join in on this conversation and answer your
questions pertaining to compatibility with later grills.
John

Hobcobble thanks for the info. Parts trucks can be had around here for a couple of hundred. I can grab this one for $500 as is, think thats a decent deal with the light damage? That is if it runs and drives OK and the 4x4 items are OK. Are the short beds harder to come by in most places as they seem to be here?

Thanks, Dave

Yes, I've seen 17 Sweptlines in the Des Moines area and not a single short bed.

Hi;
I see that Hobcobble mentions that 61 to 71 fenders are the same except for marker light holes.
Can anyone tell me if these fenders are the same size for 300, 400, 500 trucks?

speaking of shortys...
By spring I'm thinking about parting out my shorty bed with frame. Pretty much new tires with retro rims. Brand new tail light lenses still in box. Near perfect texas truck. I'm North of ya's though but I'd be willing to meet in michigan. When I'm ready I'll post it in the "for sale" board with pics.
