Heres my '70 w100 Started life as a 318/ 3 on the tree truck - no radio, no lift :pale

Was gonna part it because it so rusty - that didnt happen- lifted it for $8 instead to wheel it with some 36's - never got wheeled because of the car trans...

Ended up using it to replace my '55 coe for snowplowing

Last year it got a 4 speed, '67 axles, headers intake carb and some camshaft.

This yea I got my lazy azz and welded the rear spider gears and stuffed my 38" tires under it :clap

Next weekend there is a snow run that I'm taking it on. Hopefully there is some sheet metal left from the jeep trails

I also bought another dodge to replace the war wagon since the body is gonna fall off :D - A '86 w150 with 94k - I'll prolly stuff my other set of 60's in it and add some lift for plowing.

Most of the time the 71 just keeps the driveway lubricated. It still has a few leaks!
It gets the heavy hauling jobs and plays in the snow, At the moment the bed is being used as
storage for the 70's hood, till I get the seats in, and them it goes into the shed till needed.

The 70 takes up space and time, but is on a steady path to completion. At that time it will
be the daily driver, cruiser, hauler and kiddie transport!

You stole that truck for $225. I love those 67 short wide W100's. The first W100 I ever remember seeing was an orange 67 shortie. I loved it and had to have it. It took me about three months of looking around to find out who owned it. I finally got in touch with the owner and he was willing to sell it, so it was in my driveway the next day.
I've had my 69 for over ten years now. I'm getting a little bit 'itchey" for a new project and I've been thinking of putting it on Ebay. I haven't quite talked myself into doing it yet.

Nice trucks!!! Figured I'd add mine to the collection... A Desert Turquoise '67 383/4spd W200... What it did then: haul wood, gravel, 4-wheel, serve as daily transport, towed trailers, etc. What it does now: sit inside with its dana 70s in the bed until I can install them and the cummins and once again afford to drive it!!

Back in the day when I ran the aluminum wheels and BFG M/T's- now its got steelies and the bias ply hummer tires- perfect tires for being parked in one spot  !!
'66 Cummins W250 5 spd crew cab long bed
'67 W200 Cummins, never-ending project
'74 Ramcharger Cummins 5 speed

I would keep that one. Find another project and start working but dont sell that one.

    John,

Your 68 is looking good! I realy like those chrome headlight rings. Are you running an open diff in the rear? Do you notice any reduced traction in 2x with the added weight of the winch? :thinking

    Doug,
The 4:88 is open. I wish to heck I had a 4:10 or 3:54 gear. Its no speed demon  . I haven't noticed
any difference in traction with the winch on front..... it doesn't stress the front leafs as there are 7 or 8
    of them.

Yea ,I know what you mean about those 4.88 gears. They are great for power with a /6 or stock 318,and really are nice on the dirt roads, but when you get on the highway you need to be wearing your straw hat and have a broom stuck in the stake pocket, just to feel normal. I usaully leave my right turn signal on all the time too.:joker
