Looking at a 68 4x4 in my area. It is pretty rusty, it has a plow on it. Havn't seen it yet or heard it run. They are asking $600 for it. I am not familiar with power wagons. is there anything I should look for good or bad?
Thanks Matt

Re: looking at a 68 PW
Matt,
For a '68 Power Wagon that runs & moves..... $600 isn't too bad for the Northeast region.
I have 4 Power Wagons:
'68 W100 Utiline- rusty but runs - paid $285 with a Western plow
'68 W200 Utiline- rusty but ran - paid $300 [ex-U.S. Army vehicle]
'67 W200 Utiline Wrecker [working Canfield boom] - rusty but runs - paid $500 with a plow receiver/hydraulics
'71 W200 Sweptline box- rusty but ran - paid $500 with an original Meyers plow [had 41,000 miles on it]
Do you have any pics?
John

67 powerwagon318-somewhat complete but a basket case, most of what had been assembled had to be disassembled and reassembled properly-did not hear it run or see it move before i bought it but made sure the engine would bar over and it would roll-Paid $1200.00 and I still think I stole it off the guy.
