power wagon price question

so i decided i need a power wagon. I found a 71 short bed with a 318 the guy says its a rare truck is this right? he wants 2000 for it is that a good deal for a running driving 71?
1966 d200 crew cab.
1949 dodge 3 window coupe.
1967 pontiac firebird.
1976 dodge 4x4.
1998 jeep grand cherokee.

Personally, I think you can throw out the rare factor unless it's a Dude, CSS or HPP. It really depends on the condition and what your looking for. Here's some comparison's. :Thumbsup

If its a powerwagon 318 its definitely not a css or hpp truck although rare depends on where your'e at-north south east or west.

We would need more information to properly answer your questions. Is it worth $2000 to you? Since you are in Arizona I would think rust wouldn't be an issue however supply of these trucks in your area may be greater. It could be considered rare depending on the definition and what criteria are used. Shortbed 4 wheel drives aren't very common but then again neither are Sweptlines in general. That doesn't make their value increase though. If it has an factory automatic that would be considered somewhat rare. Does it have any other uncommon features like an Adventurer package, heavy duty gauges, a winch, chrome bumpers that are straight, power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, 3 hole mirror brackets, etc. Any of this stuff will increase the value to some people.

lol. Yeah, I wasn't meaning that a PW would be. Just that it would need such a title to be valued as "rare".
