Dana 60's on the front of the diesels. A 44 wouldn't last 5 minutes. :pale :lol:

So why no plow then? Do the "Power Wagon" models have softer front springs for better articulation?

Because with the diesel, you already have ~1500 lbs up front in a fully dressed motor - with that weight, even the D60's are stressed as is the frame.

The kingpin dana 60 is rated at 4500 lbs. The new corporate 1 ton fronts are rated at 5200lbs. Both could handle a winch and plow. The tires would be the thing to watch.

The difference between a D-100 and My W-200 power wagon is that mine will go everywhere I want it to all the time in any weather or terrain-yours wont.nuff said.
