what to do?!?!?

Post by intheprojects »

I now have 3 project trucks of varying shape. 68 w200 318 4 speed that was rolled- good chassis, drivetrain & front clip, 70 w200 big block automatic-body rough except cab, 70 200 slant 6, 4 speed 2 wheel drive- pretty nice except motor. so many ways to go! thinking about moving 318 to replace 6 cylinder for street truck, since it would be easiest option. 70 w200 needs a steering column, will the one from the 68 work? I have a floor mounted auto shifter already. without going into a whole lot of detail right now, any suggestions on what I could have looking at putting two trucks together. think I'll keep the 4x4 rough to off road in without worrying about dents or fancy paint, save that for the two wheel drive

Many things from 68-70 dont interchange w/o mods. 68 Steering wheel is totally different, but may interchange, sig switch/wiring is different.
Sounds like u just want to part out the 68 and upgrade the 2 70's.

Hey, I'm in southeast South Dakota. Stuff is scarce around here as far as sweptlines, so this site is the best resource this way.
