T-case U-joint

Post by wyota884 »

This is the rear yoke off the NP201 t-case in my '65. It uses the 7260 u-joint, and has the flange mounting for the parking brake drum. I would like to go to larger u-joints when I build new driveshafts, either 7290, 1350, 1410. I can't seem to find anything with the flange for the parking brake. Has anyone found and used anything different than the original? How strong / reliable are the 7260 u-joints?

The only other factory option is the 5380 u joints (similar in size to a 1410). I have not seen any yokes like that in the modern 1350 or 1410 series.
