I used to get an error like that when i would upload data to the server and not log off, just close my screen or my FTP client. It would stay logged in on the server side and they have a max login thresh hold. After i did that over a months period i would max it out and have to call to reset. I stopped doing that.
My guess is they were messing with something on the server side and locked all the back end admin logins to the MySQL server... i guess
I wouldn't worry about it, but if it continues to happen let me know.
