Where am I from

Post by MountainMoparRobin »

:D I've just moved to Lakewood Colorado after being in San Antonio Texas for 14 yrs. I have a 1970 D100 with 440/727 since 1990, also had the electronic ignition since 1990, one of the first to put the 440 in these trucks and one of if not the first to go with electronic ignition. I'm proud to be in Lakewood Colorado and proud of my truck!

Location Field

Post by HellBelly »

OK I installed the add-on to create a required field when signing up for a new account. I was able to add the filed, but was UNABLE to get the filed to show anywhere...

I'm still working on this. Just wanted to give you an update.

Trey, ask him when he's gonna dig that other rig out of the hole its stuck in in Austin.... The funniest part of the whole thing, the man has 4 trucks listed, and only 1 truck that is actually assembled residing at his house right now... LOL!! Bet that cleared things up, huh.... Had to take the stab at the bossman. On that note, let me know when you are going to go get some of these rigs Scott... I may be able to tag along for supervision (yeah, right).
Thanks, Clint

Hey Trey,

When you get your scanner fixed can you send me a few photos of the touong of the trailer. I am gonna dothe same with my 68 bed. I cut the frame and was pondering how long to make it. Did Fred bend the frame rails into a center post? or just use the frame rails and attach a plate or somethinglike that?

hey enjoy your sunburn, we just got 5 inches of the white stuff I have to go shovel this morning so I can go to work!!

i took some pics of it for scott, ill send them to him or post them here for all interested to see. i get all my pics developed on pic cd since the scanner is down. he used the trucks frame as the tongue with an added center barce for strength. its hard to describe in words. when i post the pics ill get some emasurements as well and descirbe it as well as possible. the tongue length is almost perfect, you can cut a tight turn and it backs pretty easy, real responsive in backing to the slightest steering wheel movement, wich is great not having power steering, you aint got to try and crank the wheel a lot while looking backwards.
