Post by Jim100 »

Hope everyone is able to check out the Mecum Kissimmee Florida auction . There is a collection of very low mile unrestored
pickup trucks of various makes. Including a 1966 D-200 Swepty. Wow!! Good stuff.

Unrestored with 10,000 ish miles. Basically a new truck sort of. I probably wouldn't pay it but ....
Fun to watch wasn't it? The guys pretending to get choked up was funny.

What was the giveaway? Also probably didn't have a hood ornament from Factory?

Can someone tell me what the 750 mile Sweptline Special that was auctioned last May sold for?

www.mecum.com/lots/SC0521-462451/1971-d ... al-pickup/

I am unfamiliar with the Mecum Auction site, and where to look...
Thanks.

No factory hood ornament in those yrs. 66 has refrigerator door handles, 67 and later has push button handles.

Also, '66 did not have a dash pad or LA318. :Thumbsup

Thanks. I had forgotten who it was.

olddodges.com/2021/07/05/1971-dodge-sweptline-special-survivor/

In May, it rolled across the auction block ... for over $30,000. Not bad for a truck that cost just over $2,300 50 years before.
