64 D100 Short Bed

Just purchased a 64 D100 Short Bed. Great body and frame. I little rot on the floors and a tiny bit at bottom of doors. Inline 6, not operable. Trying to figure out what to do with it. Resto or sell. What is this truck worth? Had a guy offer $8K. I am pretty sure this was a US ARMY pickup. It has a repaint that is almost all faded off and the original paint is a dark green.
