Ash tray question

You know you are at the end of a restoration when you are asking questions like this.
I’ve lost my photos of my dash tear down 2 years ago.
I had the ashtray, the slider, and this black bracket all in a ziplock bag together.
Does the black bracket on the right go with the ashtray, and if so can someone post a pucture of how it mounts?

I don't think that black metal is part of an ashtray... the silver one looks like the part that the ash tray slides on. Just to be clear, I have a '68 and it's different than the '70 dash.
