Having trouble downloading a photo on here, keeps saying file too large. Any suggestions?

The problem I had was I was using my phone, which takes great pictures, but the files are massive. The site has to be restrictive to keep costs down. I lowered the resolution on my phone, but I still end up reducing them manually. I cant remember the max file size, but I crop it and resize it. Once you get the size figured out, just keep them all the same.
