General Mirror Question

Hi all. Just curious about my door mirror. My 68 W100 truck came from previous owner with a small mirror attached to door parallel with the top window opening (see pic). Curious if this is a stock factory option on any sweptlines or if is aftermarket add on? I ask because I have seen this same mirror on at least one other sweptline? Thank you.

That mirror looks to be attached using 2 screws and I believe is from an 80'S TO 93 Pickup.Not sure of exact years used. Possibly from B Series Vans. The style used on 70's Warlocks, Lil Reds Ramchargers,Traildusters and other 72 to 80 pick ups were held on with 4 screws .
