Has anyone cleaned a fuel cell at home diy and if so what did you use and how did it clean the tanks pictures please I’m fixing to clean it out with the works toilet cleaner gonna see how well it works

I have not tried this, but seen it on a U Tube Vidio. He used some cleaners that he thought would work, if I'm not mistaken I think was carburetor parts cleaner and one other product that I can't remember. This was a test on 3 different tanks. On the 3rd tank he used clean rocks a shook them vigorously tell clean, said the rocks worked great. Maybe if you do a U Tube search you might find his test?

I used POR15 tank sealer. It comes in a kit. Follow the directions and make sure you shake the “paint” can very well. Worked well on my leaking, rusty tank.

jay leno uses por15 on his tanks, IIRC
