New to the Group

Post by DocHolliday1995 »

I joined the club last week when I bought this '68 d100. I have big plans for it once my '69 dart is done. Looking forward to getting some info from you guys. How hard is it to put a replace the slant 6 with a v8? I assume small block is easier than a big block. Thanks everybody.

Not that bad a swap. Especially as the hood opens straight up in the air!

:welcome (the waving welcome sign got smaller...) Looks like a nice project! I am always surprised these trucks keep popping up again and again! You'll get plenty of help here, just ask and someone usually chimes right in. :salut

Welcome to the site. :welcome :Thumbsup :usa Looks like a nice Custom D100
you have there. You can use the same bell housing [manual tranny] for an A/LA
series 318. You'd need the correct hydraulic clutch flywheel for the 318 and a set
of engine mount insulators. The frame brackets are the same. You'd need a V8
radiator and the firewall to engine section of wiring harness too.
