Don't you have to drill a hole in the blow gun pipe to allow sand into it? OR are there photos missing?

They marked the tube with a sharpie and instead of a drill they used a flat file and
Made a channel for the sand. A drill would work but it might clog easier. They also recommended after you drill a hole in the neck of the bottle and
Insert the spray tip, that you seal the 2 holes Around the spray nozzle with silicone to keep the pressure up and keep sand from leaking out.
I am going to try this for sure.
